Lynne welcomes virtual and phone clients as well as in-person clients at her office in Hope, BC.

Lynne is welcoming new individual, youth (12+), couples, and family clients from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, NWT, and the Yukon for online and phone appointments, in addition to in-person counselling services in Hope, BC.

Lynne is a kind, compassion therapist with over 13 years experience. She completed a Master’s degree in counselling psychology in 2010, is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and is registered in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Her background as a parent, teacher, mediator and advocate informs her counselling approach.

Lynne enjoys working with diverse populations: couples, adults, adolescents, and families, as well as women experiencing reproductive challenges, perinatal mental health concerns, and menopause. She is 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming in her practice.

Lynne has a special interest in helping new parents to settle into their caregiver role following the arrival of a new baby. She has advanced training in Gottman’s “Bringing Baby Home” program, which aims to support new parents strengthen their relationship with one another and resolve conflicts that often arise in the months and years after becoming parents.

Lynne is also an experienced couple’s therapist, with additional experience in supporting couples navigate differences in sexuality, including sex drive discrepancy, communication, and conflict management.

In addition to her clinical experience, Lynne has specialized, advanced training in perinatal mental health to better support clients navigating mental health challenges related to trying to conceive, perinatal loss, pregnancy, and postpartum.

Lynne uses an eclectic, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach that is adapted to each client’s individual need. She views her role as a counsellor as one of support and guidance.
