Lynne is welcoming new individual, youth (12+), couples, and family clients across Canada for online and phone appointments, in addition to in-person counselling services in Hope, BC.
Lynne is a kind, compassion therapist with over 14 years’ experience. She completed a Master’s degree in Counselling in 2010, is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and is registered in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Her background as a parent, teacher, mediator, and advocate informs her counselling approach. Lynne uses an eclectic, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach that is adapted to each client’s individual needs, and strives to create a warm and welcoming space where clients may feel safe and heard.
Lynne’s specialties include anxiety, depression, family & couples’ therapy, conflict resolution, and trauma. She also has a particular interest in women’s health (including reproductive challenges, prenatal, postpartum, and peri/menopause) as well as in supporting new parents settle into their caregiver role. She has advanced training in Gottman’s “Bringing Baby Home” program, which aims to support new parents strengthen their relationship with one another and resolve conflicts that often arise in the months and years after becoming parents.
Lynne is also an experienced couples’ therapist, with additional experience in supporting couples navigate differences in sexuality, including sex drive discrepancy, communication, and conflict management.
Lynne enjoys working with diverse populations including couples, adults, adolescents, and families. She is 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming in her practice.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for services, anger and distress tolerance
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression and perfectionism
Acceptance & Mindfulness Approaches for workplace and personal stress
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) for problem solving, goal setting and navigating life transitions
Conflict Resolution for communication skills including assertiveness (including 300+ hours training as a mediator)
Somatic Psychotherapy for body awareness
Emotion-Focused Therapy for processing difficult emotions
Exposure & Response Prevention for OCD, panic disorder, social anxiety and phobias
Psychoeducation for boundary setting, parenting skills and career exploration
