Natalie welcomes new individual clients from BC and Ontario for online and phone appointments. 

Natalie is a dedicated social worker bringing a warm, person-centered, collaborative approach to therapy that focuses on your journey, values, strengths and goals. She nurtures self-compassion and self-care as client’s journey through their lives. She fosters safe and non-judgmental therapeutic relationships that understand you in the context of your unique experiences. She warmly welcomes clients of diverse identities and life experiences. She takes an eclectic trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and attachment-based approach practice drawing on different modalities to meet your individual needs, like:

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to explore the interconnections between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
  • Attachment-based therapy to explore your attachment experiences and how they impact your relationships.
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to reduce distress and process traumatic life experiences.
  • Nature-based expressive arts therapy to explore the therapeutic benefits of nature and creatively express your feelings and experiences.
  • Mindfulness and self-compassion approaches to practice skills to ground, resource and regulate you.

Natalie is especially passionate about supporting parents in pregnancy, postpartum and beyond. As a parent of two herself, she has experienced parenthood’s unique challenges and rewards. She recognizes the toll parenthood can take on mental health. She strives to support you through life’s ups and downs as you navigate each new stage of parenting. Natalie has specialized training in perinatal mental health and loss. Common themes Natalie explores with clients include anxiety, depression, perfectionism, navigating life transitions, supporting parenting skills, overwhelm, anger, identity exploration in parenthood, body image, sleep challenges, birth trauma and processing distressing life experiences.
